Online Student Registration Guide

Aspen Home User Account – Get Started!

Parents/guardians will need to request a home user account in Aspen, our student information system, before beginning the registration process. To request an account, click on the button below. To help you through the process, view our guide and two-step videos further below.

PLEASE NOTE: It is recommended that online student registration be done through a desktop or personal computer as opposed to a mobile device. However, if using mobile, you will need to select the 'Desktop site' setting in your web browser in order to be able to request an account. Where this setting is located varies according to the platform (i.e., IOS vs. Android) and browser used.

Alternate Registration Process

Bluewater District School Board will continue to offer the following process for those who do not wish, or who are unable, to register online.

If you are new to our board, or moving schools within the district, or have a child entering kindergarten in 2023-2024, please follow these guidelines to complete the registration for your child.

To REGISTER, you must be the custodial parent/guardian.

1. Visit our ELEMENTARY or SECONDARY schools listing.

(These can also be found under the SCHOOLS link along the top of the screen on our website.)

2. Find the school you are looking for and click on the CONTACT US link on the far right. The link will take you to a page on the school website.

If you are unsure of the closest eligible area school for your child to attend, please visit https://www.mybrucegreyschoolbus.ca/Eligibility.

3. Using the email address provided on the CONTACT US page (this is typically an email for the school's general mailbox or a school administrator), make a request that 'School Registration Form (AF 6201)' be emailed to you.

Please include:

• Your name
• Contact phone number
• Number of children (to be registered)

If you are new to Bluewater District School Board or are transferring schools, you will receive a follow-up phone call from the school to complete the registration process.

If your child is starting kindergarten in 2023-2024, you will receive a phone call from the school to complete the registration process, and an appointment will be scheduled.

IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO INTERNET:
Please call the school (phone number on school website or in our school listings) and leave a message at extension 521. Please include:

• Your name
• Phone number
• Purpose of the call: request for registration package
