Safe Schools

Bluewater District School Board recognizes that a whole school approach is necessary to promote a safe, inclusive and accepting school that creates a positive school climate.

Safe and Accepting Schools (Board policy BP 6820-D)

Bluewater District School Board believes that it is important that all students have a safe, caring and accepting school environment in order to maximize their learning potential and to ensure a positive school climate for all members of the school community.

Suspensions and Expulsions (Board procedure AP 6820-D)

Bluewater District School Board recognizes the importance of the health, safety and overall well-being of its students and is committed to taking steps to reduce the risk of injury.  It is the intent of this procedure to increase awareness of conditions to prevent and identify symptoms related to concussions and to support the proper management of concussions, reducing increased risk.
